[Hiring] Midwest Account Manager @Balchem Corporation

Role Description

This role covers Food Manufacturing and CPG Accounts across the Midwest United States, largely in NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, MI, and OH. The ideal candidate will reside in IL, IA, WI, MI, MN, or MO.

The Midwest Account Manager plays an integral role in helping Balchem become our most strategic customers’ preferred supplier by:

• Developing customer intimacy
• Demonstrating market-leading knowledge
• Delivering profitable market access solutions
• Providing exceptional customer service

Leading cross-functional teams within Balchem to develop and execute both short and long-term strategic account plans with their assigned customers will be required. The Midwest Account Manager is a passionate, resilient, agile leader/learner who is accountable and approachable as he/she proactively leads efforts to develop and grow their accounts while also maintaining the current business. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with MBA is required; technical degree is preferred
• Minimum 7 years progressive sales or business development experience
• Most recent 2+ years experience in managing multiple accounts within the food ingredient industry
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans
• Strong business acumen with the ability to lead and develop cross-functional opportunities
• Willingness to travel up to 60% with overnight stays required
