[Hiring] Global Account Manager @TD SYNNEX Europe GmbH

Role Description

At TD SYNNEX, we are looking for an experienced Global Account Manager to join our International Business Europe team and develop some of our most strategic multinational customer relationships. You will manage a portfolio of approximately three strategic multinational customers, with significant business across 4–5+ European countries and a broader global footprint. Your mission will be to build and execute joint business plans, develop strong relationships with executive sponsors and drive sustainable revenue, profitability and share-of-wallet growth.

Acting as a trusted advisor to partners, vendors and local teams, you will connect stakeholders across countries and regions, navigate cultural differences and ensure strong collaboration throughout the organization. What You'll Do

• Own and develop a portfolio of approximately three complex, strategic multinational customers, including organizations with annual revenues of €500M+.
• Develop and execute joint strategic business plans across multiple European countries and at global level.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and C-level executive sponsors, positioning TD SYNNEX as a strategic business partner.
• Identify and develop opportunities to increase revenue, profitability and share of wallet across countries.
• Create compelling value propositions supporting executive-level discussions and strategic decision-making.
• Lead complex, high-value commercial negotiations involving multiple countries and stakeholders.
• Understand customers’ business priorities and translate them into coordinated local and international actions.
• Act as a trusted advisor across our partner, vendor and internal ecosystem.
• Coordinate local teams across Europe and collaborate with international peers to connect stakeholders across other global regions.
• Navigate cultural and market differences effectively to create alignment and foster collaboration between countries.
• Orchestrate executive and board-level engagements aligned with customers’ strategic objectives.
• Identify customer needs and challenges and coordinate the appropriate internal teams to ensure effective resolution.
• Analyse account performance and develop incremental business opportunities.
• Work closely with Business Units, sales teams and vendor representatives to deliver against joint objectives.
• Promote TD SYNNEX's digital and e-commerce solutions, including InTouch, and encourage customer adoption.
• Ensure accurate and timely account reporting, forecasting, profiling and CRM management.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration, providing guidance and support to colleagues across functions and countries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in strategic, international or global account management, ideally within the IT ecosystem.
• Proven experience managing large, complex multinational customers across several countries.
• Background in an international/global account role within an IT distributor, technology vendor, large reseller or systems integrator would be particularly relevant.
• Strong experience engaging, influencing and negotiating with C-level executives and senior decision makers.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• A highly collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence and coordinate teams without necessarily having direct authority.
• Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to work effectively across different countries and business environments.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with a solid understanding of profitability, margins and operating income.
• Strong strategic account planning, business development and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complexity and transform global strategies into effective local execution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong executive presence.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in the IT distribution or technology sector is highly desirable.
• Experience with CRM solutions, ideally Compass, and knowledge of SAP R/3 would be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Languages & International Environment

• Fluent French and English are essential for this role.
• Any additional European language would be an advantage, with German particularly valued.
• The role requires regular collaboration across Europe and other global regions.
• Regular international travel should be expected.

Location & Working Model

• The primary location for this position is Paris, France.
• The role offers flexibility to work remotely; however, being based in or around Paris is strongly preferred to enable regular interaction and close collaboration with the France team.
