[Hiring] Client Account Manager @Impiricus

Role Description

Impiricus is seeking a dynamic Client Account Manager to be the first dedicated client services hire for DocUpdate, supporting Curated, our physician engagement and matchmaking platform. Curated connects physicians with meaningful non-clinical opportunities, including advisory boards, consulting engagements, market research, expert calls, and other professional collaborations across healthcare.

You will be the primary relationship owner for your accounts and manage the client experience from initial intake through successful delivery, serving as the bridge between our clients and the Curated operations team. Your clients will span various industries outside of pharma, including:

• Legal
• AI labs and technology companies
• Medtech
• CROs
• Biotech
• Locum tenens and staffing
• Health systems and IDNs

This is a true ground-floor role. There is no existing playbook for client services within DocUpdate, and you will help write it. We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and commercially curious, who builds trusted relationships easily and is energized by creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Curated clients across various industries, building trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Partner day to day with Impiricus’s client services teams as they bring pharma programs onto Curated.
  • Guide clients through the full lifecycle of a physician engagement program.
  • Understand each client’s objectives and ensure projects are delivered with exceptional service.
  • Proactively communicate project updates, timelines, risks, and next steps.
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and expand partnerships over time.
• Program & Project Coordination
  • Partner closely with internal Curated operations teams to coordinate physician recruitment and project execution.
  • Manage multiple concurrent client engagements across different industries.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project health and proactively resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and project information within CRM and project management systems.
• Building the Function
  • Define how intake, onboarding, communication standards, escalation, and reporting work for clients and partners.
  • Turn insights from engagements into repeatable playbooks and templates.
  • Be the voice of the client inside the company.
  • Support onboarding of new clients and contribute to a consistently exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Client Success, Customer Success, Strategic Accounts, or a related client-facing role.
• Experience within healthcare technology, medtech, digital health, SaaS, marketplaces, or another complex B2B environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence.
• A record of ownership in building or improving a process or program.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.

Requirements

• Experience supporting clients across healthcare, medtech, biotech, AI, legal, staffing, or life sciences organizations.
• Familiarity with expert networks, market research, advisory boards, or other physician engagement models.
• Experience working with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) or health systems.
• Experience collaborating across Sales, Operations, Product, and Finance.
• Previous experience helping build or scale client-facing processes within a growing organization.
