THE ROLE
This role is for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation and implementation of automated/manual testing throughout the development lifecycle for high priority projects. They will help ensure that we deliver the highest quality experience for our clients. We're looking for someone with strong mobile automation skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and the quality assurance process.
- Develops and executes mobile automation tests based on requirements and/or feedback from management and the product team.
- Creates detailed test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.
- Provides defect analysis along with accurate steps for defect reproduction.
- Works with the development team and product owners to recommend solutions and resolve issues.
- Ability to work well under pressure while performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance for web and mobile projects.
- High proficiency coding in Python and/or Java is preferred.
- Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment systems.
- Postman/Selenium/Jenkins (additional tools)
