We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate Senior Manual QA Tester (m/f/d) to become part of our App & Web Team at ABOUT YOU onsite in Hamburg or remote within the EU! Our App & Web Team constantly improves the App, Mobile Website and Desktop Website. These big-scale products are each visited by several million people every month. The team’s focus is to provide the most inspiring, convenient, intuitive, and easy-to-use shopping experience for our customers. What you will do

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies focused on manual testing processes
• Collaborate with product management, development teams, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure feature acceptance based on requirements
• Manage and prioritize bug reports and tickets from internal and external stakeholders and analyze business value using internal data sources
• Oversee the complete bug lifecycle, including reporting, reproducing, and resolving bugs
• Coordinate testing efforts to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Advocate for product quality within cross-functional teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Prepare detailed test cases and identify edge cases before development begins
• Leverage your experience in debugging and reading JavaScript to assist in identifying and resolving issues.
• Ensure a high-quality product by not just following the acceptance criteria but proactive suggesting UX improvements

Who you are

• You have 3 years experience in quality assurance, testing and debugging of frontend applications (JavaScript) in big scale projects
• You are experienced in manual testing (explorative and destructive) 
• You are familiar with process / ticketing tools such as Jira & Confluence
• You have very good experience with testing tools, such as TestRail
• You use the browsers developer tools to collect technical hints connected to a bug reports
• You speak and write English fluently
• You are able to get a quick grasp of complex technical systems
• You focus on the details but always keep the business value of software in mind
• You have a passion for quickly shipping innovative features that are simultaneously reliable
• You are experienced with agile methodologies and understand what it means to have a quality mindset in an agile environment
• You possess very good communication skills and the ability to handle different stakeholders
