[Hiring] Shopify Project Manager @Visualsoft

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Project Manager to join our Projects Team. In this role, you will oversee Shopify-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. You’ll be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with development, design, and marketing to execute Shopify initiatives efficiently.

This is a fantastic opportunity to raise the level of Shopify expertise within our team while driving best practices in project management. If you have a strong background in Shopify projects and expertise in Jira, we’d love to hear from you!

The role can be based at any of our city-centre offices in Stockton, Newcastle or Manchester. For the right candidate, we are open to considering remote working with travel to our HQ in Stockton as and when required.

• Oversee Shopify-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines and goals are met.
• Manage cross-functional teams including development, design, and marketing to streamline Shopify implementations.
• Identify and implement solutions during the build process, ensuring a smooth project workflow.
• Act as a Shopify expert, providing guidance and upskilling the projects team to enhance Shopify knowledge.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Ensure clear communication across all teams and clients, keeping everyone informed on progress and key decisions.

Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, leveraging Shopify-specific best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Shopify project management, ideally within an agency or eCommerce environment.
• Strong expertise in Jira, with experience training teams in project management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and how they apply to Shopify projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to problem-solve during the Shopify build process, ensuring smooth execution.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with Shopify Plus, custom themes, and third-party app integrations 
• A natural problem solver with a fanatical eye for detail
• Strong workload management and prioritisation skills and proven experience of working to deadlines
• Well presented, well-spoken, articulate and professional 
• Fantastic customer service skills
• Determined, driven and willing to learn
