Dec 13, 2024 - Able is hiring a remote Principal Product Manager. 💸 Salary: $155,000 - 170,000 usd. 📍Location: USA.
Over the past several years, Able has grown immeasurably. We’ve also grown in the type of company that we are:
Chapter 1: We were founded in 2013 as a product and engineering hub for a portfolio of early-stage start-ups. We grew up as an in-house/external hybrid shared services model. That allowed us to hone our skills and establish our operational and cultural foundation.
Chapter 2: In 2019 we began to expand our vision. We began to grow outside of our inset partner base. We had good initial success meeting new partners, kicking off new relationships, and delivering high-value work.
Chapter 3: In 2023, we moved into the next phase of a new chapter, an expansion of the ambition of Chapter 2. Our strategy for growth centers around two audiences:
Chapter 3a: We are now in the next phase of Chapter 3, aligned to our mission and vision, and accelerated by the powers of applied AI. We believe that AI will be a powerful force in the end-to-end software development lifecycle. Specifically we are creating practices that – coupled with our world class talent – can deliver software significantly faster than legacy techniques. The result is increased value for our partners, who can dramatically increase the capacity of their product organizations.
Able is seeking a full-time permanent Principal Product Manager to join our growing team. As a Principal Product Manager, you will also be part of Able’s Growth Team and potential to be a Partner Lead. As a Principal Product Manager and Partner Lead, you are partner obsessed and passionate about bringing disciplines together. You are an active listener, who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute an effective product process. For each product, you will work closely with our partners, manage the overall engagement (partner strategy, team health and execution excellence), learn about their business priorities and user needs, work with them to define the problems, and collaborate with our team to define and build the solution.
As a Principal Product Manager, you will bring your advanced knowledge of agile and lean practices, sharing your passion to keep up with evolving practices as a way to constantly improve delivery. You will be able to anticipate and address risks, blockers, and other potential roadblocks in advance, delivering partner excellence.
Reporting to the Director of Product Strategy and Design, this role’s day-to-day includes:
We want to work with people who have a passion for collaborating with their teams to develop and manage all product plans. Someone who feels comfortable managing multiple time-sensitive partner projects throughout all phases of the development life cycle.
Ideally this candidate would have:
This position is 100% remote within the U.S. Minimal travel may be required within the United States.
The salary range for this position is $155,000 - 170,000 USD.
Salary offered will take into consideration the actual salary ranges for current employees, the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications, the level of specialization the role requires, budgetary considerations, the market demand for the role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based.
Let’s build together.
