[Hiring] SaaS Marketing Specialist @Morgen

Morgen is seeking a results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our fast-paced team. We’re passionate creators of tools that help people take control of their time and focus on the work that matters to them most.

You’ll work alongside our Head of Marketing to amplify our voice and reach, ultimately driving brand affinity, demand generation, and revenue for Morgen. This work will be expansive - from managing the growth of our affiliate and referral programs to crafting SEO-driven content for Morgen to designing and evaluating conversion experiments. We’re looking for someone who is curious, rigorous about experimentation, and comfortable working in ambiguity while we further refine our PMF.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who cares deeply about our mission to help others be more productive and effective.

As a startup, you won’t be delivering campaigns with massive budgets. Instead, we are conscious about every dollar we spend and seek to maximize the impact of all our efforts. This requires a commitment to rigorous experimentation, leveraging content across channels, and uncovering creative ways to attract new users to Morgen.

1. Create content and designs for our website that increase discovery and resonance of Morgen for key audience segments. You will run A/B tests and always seek to refine and improve our content, with a steadfast focus on our conversion funnel.
2. Manage the growth and administration of our Affiliate and Customer Referral Programs. You will help onboard and update affiliates, as well as manage their payments and run campaigns to incentivise extra promotions of Morgen.
3. Develop and implement omnichannel campaigns and evergreen content for target segments. This will include content for LinkedIn, X, Discord, YouTube, and our blog. It may also include experimentation in other channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, etc. where we have dabbled, but never consistently committed.
4. Carefully segment customers for in-product and email-based campaigns with the goals of deepening their use of Morgen and increasing our customers' LTV.
5. Monitor and analyze campaign and channel performance, providing regular reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our marketing efforts remain competitive.
7. Openness to taking on other projects as needed across that company that may be outside traditional marketing roles (ex. editing changelogs, writing product copy, running onboarding experiments, etc.).

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or related professional experience.
2. Excellent writing skills in English, with a love for crafting persuasive copy, and adapting it based on channel and audience.
3. Implement SEO-driven content strategy that maximizes brand visibility and discovery. Key word research, competitor analysis, and targeted search terms will be crucial.
4. Conduct technical and on-page SEO audits (ex. checking for necessary URL structure changes, repairing broken links, correcting heading hierarchies, adding missing metadata, etc.)
5. Design assets for Morgen’s website, blog, social content, and more that are consistent with our brand standards. Experience with Figma is a plus.
6. 1-2 years of experience in marketing campaign management, preferably within SaaS or technology industry.
7. Strong analytical skills and experience using marketing and product analytics tools to measure campaign performance and optimize results.
8. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. A creative, strategic thinker with a passion for staying current with marketing trends, social platforms, and the productivity tool landscape.
10. Desire to work in a fast-moving startup, own and design programs, and make a meaningful impact to the success of the business.
11. Comfortable working remotely with a team spread across Europe.
12. Video editing skills is a plus.
