Responsibilities:
- Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
- Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
- Ensure proper observability of the production systems
- Assist with database and service performance tuning
- Collaborate with Development Engineers on the impacts of new features
- Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
- Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years Kubernetes
- Terraform
- OCI (Oracle Cloud) required, multi-cloud experience preferred
- Container lifecycle
- Programming Go, Python or similar
- Database optimization
- Network level troubleshooting
Education and Experience:
- At least 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience preferred
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. - GCP / GKE much preferred.
