We are looking for a contract to hire Data Analyst to join our technology team to help analyze and provide quick insights needed to meet key business objectives, and to help drive data-driven decision making across our organization. This role will work cross-functionally to support Business Operations, Clinical Operations, Product and Marketing. In addition to cross-functional stakeholders, you will be an integrated part of our technology team of Engineers, and current Sr. Data Analyst.

In this role, you will pull and analyze data from multiple data sources in Snowflake and Athena EMR and work with our current data analyst to build dashboards in Lightdash (A Looker alternative). You will work with key stakeholders to understand their various data needs. You will enjoy telling stories with data, while keeping data integrity best practices at top of mind. A background in analyzing complex clinical/healthcare data is a plus.

• Work closely with cross-functional team members to plan and execute high-visibility reporting needs while ensuring excellence in data quality

• Clean and transform raw data for reporting and analysis

• Design and maintain Lightdash dashboards for both internal and external reporting needs

• Conduct analysis for quarterly reports for various external clients

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses for various cross-functional efforts to drive data driven decision making

• Execute client return data files

• Clearly present findings to both technical and non-technical team members

• Participate in technology team stand-ups, refinements and data model code reviews

Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst

• Bachelors in STEM or other quantitative fields (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance etc.)

• Experience working with healthcare data, AthenaOne or Athena Data View is a plus

Skills and Abilities:

• Intermediate SQL skills with professional experience working with complex production data

• Proficient in Excel

• Python or other programming language is a plus but not required

• Knowledge of various statistical methods for analyzing data

• Experience working with BI tools, such as Looker or Lightdash

• Experience working with data warehouses, such as Snowflake

• Experience working with dbt (Data Build Tool) is a plus but not required

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics specific to business operations, such as revenue, cost optimization and productivity and efficiency

• Ability to break down complex problems and offer creative data-driven solutions with focus on optimization and scalability

• Willingness to jump into a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks efficiency
