THE ROLE:

We are looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented Director, Distribution and Fulfillment - EU who will report directly to our Vice President, Supply Chain and will oversee all Supply Chain operations in the EU region. With our customer at the center of everything we do, this critical role will ensure that data is being used to guide decision-making, improve processes, track KPIs, and manage inventory. This person will provide key insights, enabling senior leaders to make sound decisions and provide strategic direction to the organization. With partnership and support from AG’s Operations, Inventory Management, and Customer Happiness Teams, our empowered EMEA Operations Analyst will serve as AG’s primary contact point to our Service Providers in the UK and EU.

To ensure effective collaboration with our US-based team, you will occasionally need to work outside of regular EU business hours in order to meet the needs of this role.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Own, drive and be accountable for the overarching Supply Chain for EU (driving packaging sourcing, localization, compliance, labeling and inventory management).
  • Support the overall quality of the product and ensure visibility in all that we do to manage quality.
  • Lead EU/UK supply chain team and drive strategy to support rapid growth.
  • Own the accuracy, quality, visibility and performance of fulfillment and delivery across Europe and the UK.
  • Monitor service provider performance and call out areas of opportunity.
  • Be on-site to audit and manage 3PLs during key seasons and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Hire and manage a team of driven experts.
  • Monitor and own inventory updates, transition support, replenishment requests.
  • Responsible to lead the team for inbound receipts and provide logistics support.
  • Assess and manage transition, as appropriate, to new fulfillment partners.
  • Support AG’s Inventory Management and Planning Team.
  • Own and actively participate in weekly meetings with service providers.
  • Partner with service providers on joint improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Manage issue resolution support with all internal and external partners.
  • Research, seek out, and establish cost-efficient shipping service levels.
  • Own customer order delivery information and enforce continual improvements/optimization.
  • Design and Implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data.
  • Monitor all relevant dashboards and reporting to identify key trends.
  • Identify issues and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Dive and manage the team that reports KPIs weekly and update dashboards.
  • Responsible for the audit of fulfillment, logistics, and transportation invoices weekly.
  • Maintain operations financial overview.
  • Ensure data integrity and monitor all inventory levels.
  • Ensure all customer orders are flowing from order placement to customer delivery.
  • Manage a new team that monitors and reports on lost packages.

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 10-15 years of global Supply Chain Management experience in the Consumer Goods, and ideally, eCommerce space.
  • Detailed experience managing and working closely with 3PL's (Third Party Logistics Providers).
  • Significant experience migrating DC’s and maintaining the customer focus.
  • SCMP certification is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Experience in data analytics and data visualization (Strong in Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Significant experience with supply chain processes, especially fulfillment and transportation is preferred.
  • A curious and humble learner willing to push, test, fail, learn, and share.
  • Experienced in analyzing and improving supply chain data, information and processes.
  • A dedicated believer in delivering a premium customer experience every time.
  • A strong professional communicator. Significant interpersonal skills. Manage productive and trusting relationships with all partners.
  • Detail-oriented, understanding that the little things add up. Attention to detail is in your nature. Enjoy being precise and accurate, but can still work quickly and independently.
  • Flexible, understanding that a startup office can be unpredictable. Able to maneuver to provide support whatever the situation.
  • Willing to travel as needed.
  • A mentor for both internal and external teams.
  • Problem solver. Things are not always going to go as planned. Have maturity and a calm demeanor to operate and make decisions under pressure and within tight timelines.
  • Technical aptitude to analyze data, interpret information and trends, and communicate findings effectively.
