We have offices currently in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Berkeley Heights, NJ, but we are a national organization with over 200 employees from the East to the West Coast.
Our company was founded by the Kohn family in 1992 as Broadway Data Base. During the last 2 decades, our company has grown to over 5,000 clients by preserving those early principles and providing a superior payroll solution. Over time, the company became known in the industry as BDB Payroll. In December, 2014 we added growth investors and new leadership to build the future of our company and since October 2016, we became known as Viventium, a BDB operating company. From our early NYC roots, we have expanded into a nationwide firm. We are also expanding our offering from one of payroll-only to a complete human capital management (HCM) solution for small to medium sized US employers. HCM treats employees as investible assets that drive and determine the future success of our clients. Viventium means “living,” and we strive to be living HCM… our core operating principle.
