About Starts With Us

Starts With Us is a new social impact initiative empowering people to face personal and societal challenges in a more open-minded, constructive, and sustainable way. As a society, we have become more narrow-minded, more judgmental, more unforgiving, and more intolerant of difference. We believe a better world starts with better habits, and we’re combining skill-based exercises with social storytelling to inspire people to practice curiosity, empathy, and courage in their daily lives.

Starts With Us is incubated by The Lubetzky Family Foundation (LFF). Created by KIND Snacks founder Daniel Lubetzky, LFF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to finding creative solutions to society’s greatest challenges. LFF focuses on fostering empathy and critical thinking, supporting the foundations of democracy, and cultivating civil dialogue.
