We're Sorry Robots, parent company of Mvnifest and Voltaire. Mvnifest is a full-stack product design agency, 3PL, and logistics software platform. Our Voltaire smart grinder and beverage line launched the first portable, IoT burr grinder to sense coffee bean freshness. We're also the former parent company of GIR, which was acquired by Pattern Brands in 2021. There's a lot going on here—we're not reinventing the wheel, but everything else is fair game.
GIR, our line of award-winning kitchen tools, is designed for the modern kitchen: bright, beautiful, and functional. Voltaire’s first product is a portable, high-performance coffee grinder that aims to reinvent the way users make and purchase coffee. We’ve developed patent-pending technology to monitor bean freshness, track usage patterns and user preferences, and automatically reorder beans when they run low or get stale. Our Mvnifest platform offers our operational systems and product development expertise as services to help fellow brands grow and scale—and includes a 3PL that ships for some of the best-known names in DTC eCommerce and retail.. When it comes to product design, we think that "good enough" is pretty crappy. That's why the hard-working engineers at Sorry Robots are always finding ways to get it right. When we founded our first product brand, GIR, we started with the perfect spatula. We sold that business to Pattern Brands in 2021. And now, from cooking tools to coffee gear, and ops to apps, if there's room for improvement our job is to find it, perfect it, and make everything look good at the same time.
To do our good work, we've built a bangarang team of creatives, engineers, operators, and business-folk. In building a world-class team, our goal is to in-source as many components of the business as possible—design, marketing, sales & distribution, tech, operations—perfect them, and monetize them across our own brands and partner brands.
