About The Job

Sodexo are seeking a qualified and experienced Casual Chef to join our team in the Multi Site Pool based in the Northern Territory.

Our Chef’s along with the extended service team are the 'backbone' of our remote sites. They contribute extensively to the effective day to day operations and provide a service for customers ensuring that each experience is as close to a home away from home feeling.

Your role will include but is not limited to hands-on service for bulk and or buffet style cooking for breakfast, Dinner, pastries, crib and on occasions organising functions. Outstanding Leadership skills is required as you will work very closely with both chefs and catering staff members. Customer service and a team player attitude is a vital part of this role along along with exceptional knowledge of HACCP and the ability to handle catering request and work under pressure. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a company that are highly respected and highly regarded as a Service provider.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be certified and experienced with a minimum of 2years experience ideally within the mining sector.  Bulk cooking experience is a huge advantage however exceptional customer service is key. You will possess an approachable manner and have an keen eye for detail and be able to excel in times of pressure. Taking pride and responsibility in your role is greatly admired and is a quality we would love to see in our staff members.
