PeerStreet was founded to help solve many of the problems in the mortgage finance space that led up to the global economic collapse in 2008, and level the playing field between Wall Street and Main Street. PeerStreet is led by former real estate attorney Brew Johnson, former Google executive Brett Crosby, and Y Combinator alumnus Alex Perelman.
