    What's Doist stance on diversity?

    What about Doist employees who have families and kids?

In an effort to also support our team members who are new parents, we also welcome them to bring their partner and baby to our company retreat.

    How does Doist handle maternity/paternity leave?

Becoming a parent is an exciting time and we want to be sure that our team members who are new parents are able to take time away to take care of family. We offer 18 weeks of maternity leave and 5 weeks of paternity/adoption leave.

    What does a first week/month at Doist look like, remotely?

Starting a new job can be a lot to take in, especially remotely. At Doist, the first week is very exploratory. You’ll be set up with an onboarding project (built in Todoist of course!) and a mentor within the company who will help facilitate your onboarding over the course of 12 weeks. You’ll also have an opportunity to spend 2 weeks in your mentor’s city to get some in-person mentoring time!

Tech Stack

    What's Doist Communication stack?


At Doist we communicate primarily in writing using Twist (our own product), however for video conferencing we typically use Zoom or Google Meet.


    What’s Doist Tech stack?

Our backend is mostly written in Python, with a few microservices in Go. The web app is written in ES6 using React, and the mobile apps in their platform's native language (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS). Everything is hosted on AWS, using EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, SQS, Fargate, etc. We all use Git and GitHub.
