The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) supports higher education professionals in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and communication of data, and the strategic use of information for effective decision making and planning. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
As a federal subcontractor, AIR must comply with all guidance published by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force at https:/www.saferfederalworkforce.gov/contractors/ to implement Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, dated September 9, 2021. All employees must be fully vaccinated and complete a Covid-19 vaccine affirmation upon hire.
Medical or religious Exemptions: An employee may request an exemption to the vaccination requirement based on the existence of medical contraindication to vaccination. In addition, an employee may request an exemption to the vaccination requirement based on a sincere religious belief. In both cases, an employee may be required to submit documentation to support the request for an exemption. Employees who secure an exemption may be required to take additional precautions under certain circumstances.
