Greg - Sr. Software Engineer I heard someone say what we do at 7 cups is give world a hug with the internet. As a member of the engineering team it is my job to find ways to connect people with the right listeners, and enable them to communicate in a meaningful way. At the moment our team is small, but the projects we work on are large scale and we each get to make a huge impact on thousands of users as they seek emotional support. As engineers we work with dedicated and skilled product development and research teams to support this mission. Some of our established or in progress projects include:- A high volume chat messaging system written in Node.js- A modern mobile app using the React Native framework- Elasticsearch listener recommendation engine- REST API to connect entire ecosystem- Unique "friendly" chat bot to welcome and guide users- Much more to come as our team grows!
