[Hiring] VIP Corporate Travel Agent @Encore Travel

Role Description

This is a fully remote, US-based position, open to candidates residing in New Jersey.

As a VIP Corporate Travel Agent, you manage new bookings and changes across air, hotel, rail, and car for Encore's most demanding travel clients:

• Name changes
• Date shifts
• Itinerary rebuilds

You carry sensitive, private information with the same care every time, not just when someone is watching. This is not a booking role; it is a relationship role wearing an agent's title.

What You'll Do:

• Own every VIP itinerary, start to finish.
• Book and rebuild international air, hotel, rail, and car reservations fluently in the loyalty programs that matter to the traveler holding the ticket.
• Protect what's sensitive and keep it compliant.
• Complete document verification and pre-check for every traveler in your care.
• Advise on entry requirements before they're asked about.
• Keep every reservation inside the client's policy without being told twice.
• Anticipate before they ask.
• Learn each traveler's preferences and hold them across every booking.
• Raise the standard for the team.
• Be a resource to your colleagues, answering questions before they're fully asked.

Qualifications

• Extensive travel industry experience (20+ years)
• Demonstrated expertise in US domestic travel, international itineraries, fare rules, and loyalty program mechanics
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Advanced, current knowledge of travel industry rules and processes
• Soft skills to guide a traveler to resolution in the fewest exchanges possible
• Customer orientation strong enough to build lasting relationships with travelers
• Ownership of mistakes
• Organizational discipline to manage multiple complex or dedicated accounts

Requirements

• Formal travel school training (an asset)
• Prior experience supporting dedicated or high-complexity accounts specifically
• Deep knowledge of US-based corporate travel programs and compliance requirements

Shift Options

• Available schedules (Eastern Time):
• Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET
• Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET
