[Hiring] Manager of Cruise Programs @Internova Travel Group

Role Description

The Manager of Cruise Programs is responsible for the training and support of our Distinctive Voyages Hosts. Working with the department’s leadership team, the responsibilities include:

• All host training, including development of programs such as:
• Intro to the Distinctive Voyages Host program
• New host onboarding
• Pre/post cruise preparation
• Program updates
• Leading workshops at both EDGE and the host retreat
• Operational duties including:
• Assisting with interviewing and onboarding new hosts
• Managing communications related to program updates, webinars, and events such as the Host Retreat

This position is fully remote; however, candidates residing in the Alexandria, VA area or broader DMV region are strongly preferred. Proximity to our Alexandria office enables participation in periodic in-person collaboration and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience within the travel industry with exposure to marketing and communications, training, and education
• Excellent comprehensive curriculum development skills with proven track record
• Expertise in using e-learning software (e.g., Articulate, Camtasia), LMS platforms and virtual training tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
• Advanced proficiency in MS 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce
• Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong project management and time management abilities
• Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently while also excelling in a collaborative team setting
• Willingness to travel as needed

Requirements

• Assist in the interviewing and onboarding new hosts
• Serve as a secondary point of contact for over 600 Hosts
• Partner with Sr. Manager to track, manage and distribute host marketing plans
• Update and document SOPs
• Monitor and approve host expense reports
• Assist in managing emails from hosts via the @dvhosts email account
• Support the Sr. Manager during the mass assignment process
• Ensure host records are accurate and up to date
• Review and update the Voyages pages in Agent Universe when requested
