Role Description

Step into the professional side of the travel industry and create a flexible business around the way you want to work. Through a host agency model, you can begin as an independent travel professional with access to the training, certifications, supplier network, licensing support, and resources needed to get started.

You’ll develop your own client portfolio, choose your personal or agency brand, and decide when and how much time you dedicate to your business. No previous tourism experience is necessary. Training begins with the fundamentals and continues as you develop your knowledge and services.

TASKS

• Complete the initial travel advisor training and certification.
• Learn how professional travel booking platforms and supplier systems work.
• Research destinations, accommodations, transportation, and experiences for clients.
• Create personalized travel proposals based on preferences and budgets.
• Coordinate hotels, transfers, rental cars, tours, activities, theme parks, and other eligible travel services.
• Manage reservations and maintain communication with clients throughout the process.
• Develop your professional presence and promote your travel services.
• Build and maintain your own portfolio of clients.
• Continue training with destinations and participating travel suppliers.
