[Hiring] Supplier Collaboration Supply Chain Professional @International Motors

Role Description

As the commercial vehicle industry undertakes its most significant transformation in a century, International is on a mission to redefine transportation. We are seeking a Supplier Collaboration Supply Chain Professional to join our team.

The individual will be doing on-site assessments of supplier readiness to meet International part requirements including:

• Capacity planning
• Manpower analysis
• Process flows
• Machine throughput with downtime tracking
• Tooling condition
• Preventative maintenance practices
• Raw material ordering practices from Tier 2 and 3 suppliers to meet EDI demand
• Quality system processes
• KPI documentation
• Work station environment 5S preparedness including standardized work
• Redundant shipping packaging availability
• Raw and finished goods storage processes

The position will require the ability to travel 60% to 80% of the time to work on-site with International suppliers. Other than when traveling, this position can be based remotely but the applicant MUST live in or be willing to live in (or live a commutable distance to) one of the following locations:

• US-IL-Lisle
• US-AL-Huntsville
• US-TX-San Antonio
• US-OH-Springfield
• US-OK-Tulsa

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience
• OR Master's degree and at least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience
• OR at least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
• At least 1 year of lead experience

Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
