[Hiring] Senior Manager, Domestic Transportation @Harbor Freight

Role Description

The Sr. Manager of Domestic Transportation is responsible for leading and optimizing transportation operations to achieve cost, service, quality, and performance objectives. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across domestic transportation activities, including:

• Inbound and outbound shipping
• Carrier and 3PL management
• Dedicated transportation
• Store and customer delivery

The Sr. Manager is responsible for:

• Transportation procurement and partner relationships
• Financial and P&L management
• Performance measurement and continuous improvement

This position also leads and develops Management and Associates, establishes accountability for performance, and builds strong partnerships across the organization to support business and supply chain objectives.

Requirements

• Lead domestic transportation and logistics operations
• Drive continuous improvement in transportation costs and service levels
• Lead sourcing, procurement, and contract activities
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with logistics partners
• Monitor delivery performance and quality
• Establish and monitor transportation KPIs
• Manage transportation budgets and P&L performance
• Analyze business and performance data
• Evaluate and recommend changes related to transportation operations
• Lead process improvements and organizational change initiatives
• Communicate organizational values and performance expectations
• Build effective partnerships across departments

• Anticipated salary range: $126,700 – $190,100
