Role Description

We are seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Region Director, Supply Chain Operations for our California Region to provide leadership and strategic oversight for all supply chain activities across a designated region within our organization. In this high-impact role, you will be instrumental in managing and inspiring a dedicated team responsible for:

• Procurement
• Inventory management
• Logistics
• Distribution across all of your region's facilities

To excel in this position, you must possess:

• Strong leadership and analytical skills
• A comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain management principles, strategic sourcing, and logistics
• Proven expertise in optimizing complex supply chain operations across multiple sites within a large organization

You will be accountable for:

• Divisional performance on key operational indicators
• Forging successful relationships with market and facility executives to drive value and optimize operating margins
• Ensuring our supply chain seamlessly supports our organizational strategic plan

Every day you will manage a team responsible for:

• Procurement
• Inventory management
• Logistics
• Distribution within your region's facilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Fostering successful relationships with market and facility executives, key department leaders, and adjacent stakeholders
• Optimizing the total cost of ownership for the supply chain
• Ensuring department compliance with established standard operating procedures, policies, quality assurance programs, safety, environmental, and infection control policies
• Selecting, orientating, assigning, and evaluating market level department staff
• Managing department to national SSRM operating standards of performance
• Promoting improvement efforts throughout the organization
• Ensuring department goals and objectives align with the organization’s strategic plan, philosophy, and vision

Qualifications

• Masters Other, upon hire or Post Graduate Degree, upon hire
• Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Supply Chain within a healthcare facility system or other relevant experience
• Minimum 10 years healthcare / supply chain experience
• 7 years leadership experience may be considered in-place of advanced degree
• Change Management and Leadership (LEAD) experience within first year
• Team management and/or project management preferred
