Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Supply Chain Security Auditor to support partner audits across manufacturing, logistics, and technology environments. This individual will lead security assessments of third-party suppliers, contract manufacturers, repair facilities, and logistics partners to ensure compliance with physical security, cybersecurity, and operational security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and logistics auditing, combined with experience evaluating information security controls and conducting supplier assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite and remote audits of manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, and supply chain partners
• Conduct audit planning, preparation, execution, and reporting activities
• Evaluate physical security controls, operational processes, and cybersecurity controls
• Review access management, facility security, inventory controls, material handling, and supply chain processes
• Assess IT security controls, including identity management, MFA, and cybersecurity governance practices
• Collect and document audit evidence
• Develop audit findings, observations, and recommendations
• Prepare detailed audit reports and executive summaries
• Utilize audit management platforms to document audits and findings
• Work closely with Cisco stakeholders and supplier representatives throughout the audit lifecycle
• Travel to partner locations as required

Qualifications

• 5+ years of auditing experience within manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, technology, or semiconductor environments
• Experience leading audits independently
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and warehouse/logistics processes
• Experience conducting supplier, vendor, or third-party audits
• Knowledge of physical security controls and risk assessments
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and information security controls
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable leading discussions, asking challenging questions, and driving audits to completion

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, or similar certification
• Experience auditing contract manufacturers or technology supply chains
• Semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech industry experience
• Experience using AuditBoard or similar audit management platforms
• Knowledge of supply chain security frameworks and best practices

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong technology manufacturing and logistics background, preferably semiconductor
• Experience conducting and leading audits, including ISO 27001
• Understanding of physical security and securing manufacturing/logistics operations and IP
• IT and Cybersecurity experience is valuable, but secondary
• Self-starter who can take ownership and independently lead audits
• Must be a US-based consultant
• Ability to support audits across North America, South America, and Europe

Audit Scope

• Approximately 15 audits per year
• Audits typically last 1–4 days, with most billing for 2–3 audit days
• Consultant will receive training/support for the first 1–2 audits and should then be capable of running audits independently

Typical Engagement per Audit

• Approximately 20 hours pre-audit preparation
• 2–3 days onsite/active audit
• Approximately 20 hours post-audit for findings, summary, documentation, and handoff
