[Hiring] Director, Supply Chain Operations @OpenLoop Health

Role Description

OpenLoop's mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. The Pharmacy Operations & Supply Chain team owns the journey from the moment a provider writes a prescription to the moment medication reaches the patient's door — across a network of 20+ fulfillment partners.

As Director, Supply Chain Operations , you own the execution engine of the function — everything that turns a plan into medication delivered. That spans two areas:

• Systems & Formulary: The configuration that determines how every medication order flows.
• Network & Fulfillment Operations: The partner-pharmacy network and end-to-end order fulfillment.

You report to the VP, Pharmacy Operations & Supply Chain and partner with a peer Director who owns Demand & Supply Planning. This is a build role — harden the processes, close the documentation gap, and partner with Product daily to replace manual workarounds with real infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Own Systems & Formulary, including:
  • Configuration accuracy as patient-facing.
  • SKU/formulary builds and state-by-state routing.
  • Integration health across the ordering platform and partner systems.
• Own Network & Fulfillment Operations, including:
  • Partner-pharmacy network management.
  • End-to-end order fulfillment.
• Own service levels and routing outcomes, driving turnaround SLAs.
• Partner deeply with Product and Engineering daily to translate operational problems into requirements.
• Harden and rebuild pharmacy operational processes to scale.
• Close the documentation gap by building reference infrastructure.
• Own operational readiness for new products and formulations.
• Partner with Quality & Compliance on audit and inspection readiness.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across Systems & Formulary and Network & Fulfillment Operations.
• Champion automation and technology to streamline workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in operations, fulfillment, systems, or pharmacy operations, including 4+ years leading teams.
• Proven people leadership across disciplines.
• Demonstrated success scaling a high-volume operations or fulfillment function.
• Demonstrated partnership with Product or Engineering on operational tooling.
• Track record standing up process, documentation, and repeatable systems.
• Experience owning a configuration, routing, or order-flow layer.
• Comfortable operating across systems you don't control.
• Vendor and network management experience.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, flat-structure environment.

Requirements

• 503A compounding pharmacy experience, or pharmacy/healthcare/regulatory background.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and order-routing or API integration environments.
• Cold-chain or temperature-controlled fulfillment experience.
• Continuous-improvement or Lean background; experience preparing regulated operations for audit or inspection readiness.
