[Hiring] Corporate Strategy Manager @Private Health Management

Role Description

The Corporate Strategy Manager will join PHM’s Strategy & Business Operations team as an individual contributor reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. As the CSO’s first team member dedicated exclusively to corporate strategy, this person will take meaningful ownership of rigorous strategic and analytical work and turn it into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership.

Strategy at PHM is highly cross-functional and closely connected to how the business is run. In this role, you will work directly with the CSO and regularly engage the CEO, CFO, SVP of FP&A, Head of Business Ops/Product, and a variety of operating leaders across PHM. You will dig deeply into data, research markets, tackle high-priority strategic questions, and translate complex findings into compelling executive, Board, and investor materials.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Become a trusted analytical partner who can independently tackle sophisticated questions, work through messy data, identify the insights that matter, and help leaders make better strategic decisions.
• Take increasing ownership of high-priority strategy work, moving from an ambiguous business question through analysis, insight, recommendation, and decision-ready output with appropriate partnership from the CSO and other leaders.
• Elevate PHM’s executive, Board, and investor materials by translating complex analysis and research into clear, concise, evidence-based stories and tangible outputs.
• Develop a strong understanding of PHM’s systems, data, markets, and business so you can operate with increasing self-sufficiency and contribute credibly to high-priority strategic work.

How You’ll Spend Your Days

• Drive rigorous analysis and insight, conducting business, financial, operational, and performance analysis using Excel, Sigma, and PHM’s data environment.
• Turn complexity into executive-ready stories by developing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, written briefs, and visual analyses for senior leadership, the Board, and investors.
• Develop strategic market perspectives by independently conducting and synthesizing research on market sizing, channel opportunities, partnership synergies, and competitive landscape.
• Partner directly with senior leaders, gathering inputs, clarifying questions, pressure-testing assumptions, and presenting work you have owned.

Qualifications

• Exceptional analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to move from analysis to insight.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively with senior executive leaders.
• Excellent PowerPoint and storytelling capabilities.
• Intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, reliability, and a strong learning orientation.

Requirements

• A rigorous management consulting foundation or comparable experience conducting sophisticated analytical and strategic work.
• Experience using AI tools effectively for research, synthesis, and strategic analysis.
• Interest in building a long-term career in corporate strategy.
• Experience with Sigma, Snowflake, or other advanced analytics and data tools.

Compensation

The target base salary for this position is 100,000 – 140,000. This base salary is only a part of a total compensation package that may vary based on market forces, experience, location, and other relevant business considerations.

Location

This is a remote role requiring that you live in and physically perform all work in the United States.

Anticipated Pay Range

$100,000 — $140,000 USD
