[Hiring] Systems and Software Development Specialist @Forge Group, LLC

Role Description

Forge Group requires a Software Development Specialist to become part of a dynamic team supporting Department of War (DoW) customers. The project is a modern cloud-based custom software development engagement. This role will engage with a large development team and perform key development activities for critical application elements and modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality features using .NET/C# and following CI/CD processes.
• Perform unit testing on developed features, enhancements, and fixes to ensure product is ready for customer review.
• Support customer feedback review and provide development team disposition on collected feedback as well as new feature and enhancement requests.
• Develop detailed time and sizing estimates for technical tasking and user stories.
• Update product backlogs with latest ticket status.
• Work with integrated project team to deploy latest code using CI/CD to associated Azure services (Azure SQL and Azure App Service/Functions).
• Document technical artifacts including data models, process flows, application, and interface design.
• Development and maintenance of system architecture and requirements documentation.
• Maintain Active Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• 5-8 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with .NET/C#.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• SQL/MSSQL Experience.
• Front End Experience (React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience with CSS and HTML5.
• Experience with MS Azure SQL and Azure App Service.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to follow security protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Security+CE certification.
• DoW Secret Clearance (or higher).

Requirements

• Secret level DoD Security Clearance required.

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Experience working with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) preferred.
• Azure certification preferred.
