Role Description

Client is looking for a heavy back-end developer with good experience in SSIS, Stored Procedures using SQL.

• Strong experience with SQL Server and writing/optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Experience on EDI 83X formats (EDI 834 is required).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of SSIS and SSRS (would be a great plus).
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle - Agile.
• Proven track record in delivering high-quality Database backend projects within tight deadlines.
• Excellent Analytical skills and resourcefulness.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Hands-on experience in Database finetuning, and resolution of performance bottlenecks (using Profilers and similar tool suite).
• Working experience with data migration/integration (within the healthcare field, particularly dental health benefits administration; Dental claims experience is a plus).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results with quick turnaround times.
• HIPAA, PHI, PII and Information security awareness.
• Working experience on US Healthcare medical insurance segment, Medicaid dental/vision benefits piece.

Qualifications

• Experience in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Proven track record in database backend projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

• Experience with EDI 834 and EDI 83X formats.
• Hands-on experience in database performance tuning.
• Experience in data migration/integration within healthcare.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and PII regulations.
