Role Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Digital Software Engineer. This challenging yet rewarding role combines expertise in full-stack development with a strong focus on progressive web application experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to address complex business issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and maintain progressive web applications using modern technologies.
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science - Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 5+ Years of experience.
• Proven software development experience and full stack development skills.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Deep knowledge of web development technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
• Familiarity with progressive web applications and relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of the full web development life cycle, including UX/UI, web design, development, and deployment.
• Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Back-end development experience, including REST APIs, is essential.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Travel is required for less than 10% of company-related meetings, programs, and/or events.
• Sitting is required for 90% of working hours.
• Standing is required for 10% of working hours.
• Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movement (i.e., typing).
• Occasional reaching, twisting, and bending.
• Noise level no greater than casual conversation.
• Ability to perform work in cubicle workstations or an office setting.
• Work in temperatures ranging from 65 - 75 degrees.

Onsite Interview & Onboarding Requirements

• Final Interview: Held on-site at our office in Mount Horeb, WI.
• HQ Onboarding: Newly hired team members will spend their first week of onboarding live at our headquarters.
• Travel Note: Duluth Trading Company will fully coordinate and fund all travel arrangements and accommodations for both the final interview and the onboarding week.

Position Compensation Outline

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $115,000/year. This position is eligible to participate in the company bonus program. Compensation listed is for the full-time position at this specific location and is based on several factors, including experience and qualifications.
