[Hiring] Spring Security / Site Reliability Engineer @Ampcus Inc.

Role Description

Seeking a hands-on Java security and reliability engineer to support the production SCV platform and help move SCV features to Hashi Corp Vault. The role combines secure application engineering, operational support, and Site Reliability Engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance the legacy Java-based application running in production.
• Use Spring and Spring Security to build secure and efficient application capabilities.
• Support the migration of SCV features to the HashiCorp Vault platform.
• Perform bug fixes, automation, DevOps, engineering, and operational support activities.
• Develop integrations and onboard tools that support business needs and the Brokerage ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot issues using logs, thread dumps, and network traces.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
• Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices when managing applications and services.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of data security principles and protection of sensitive information.
• Solid understanding of HTTP/REST, TLS/SSL, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across logs, thread dumps, and network traces.
• Operational and engineering experience managing enterprise applications and services.
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
• Ability to work within architectural standards, security requirements, and least-privilege principles.

Requirements

• Exposure to HashiCorp Vault or enterprise secrets management platforms.
• Experience supporting IAM or credential-management applications.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated enterprise environment.
• Experience with incident and vulnerability management processes.
