Role Description

This role can be located anywhere within the US. Do you like helping global software vendors and healthcare organizations design and implement the best AI/ML solutions? Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing technologies? Do you have a technical vision for what the future of healthcare AI/ML looks like and how it can enhance global healthcare?

Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing healthcare AI/ML business as part of the World Wide Public Sector group. As a Solutions Architect within AWS, you will have the opportunity to:

• Help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services (e.g., AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS EBS) directly with customers and our ecosystem of system integrators and solution providers.
• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success of specific global customer implementation projects.
• Define implementation architectures, build prototypes, and develop a deep expertise in the AWS technologies.
• Be a subject matter expert on security as it relates to healthcare AI/ML.

As a Solutions Architect on our team, you will provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the global healthcare market for cloud computing, while working with a world-class sales and business development team. You will be a global technical leader on medical imaging within AWS, building and leading internal communities to deliver for healthcare organizations and software vendors.

The role will work with an assortment of health AI/ML-focused partners and customers, including some of the leading providers of health AI/ML systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.

Requirements

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
• Ability to travel 30% - The Solutions Architect role will work with customers anywhere in the world.
