Role Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer (Java) to develop and maintain high-performance backend systems using modern Java and Spring Boot technologies. You will contribute across all stages of the software development lifecycle, build scalable data processing solutions, and work with technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka in an Agile environment. The role also involves contributing to system design, ensuring code quality, and maintaining system reliability.

Main Responsibilities

• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code with proper test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other engineers to ensure code quality and consistency
• Maintain current components and technical documentation, suggesting updates as needed
• Remain up-to-date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments

Qualifications

• Experience in financial, investment, or trading domains (nice to have)
• Good knowledge of data structures, architectural patterns (nice to have)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB) (nice to have)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS (or other cloud platforms) (nice to have)
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, JFR) (nice to have)
