Role Description

We are looking for a mission-driven engineer who is passionate about their craft and committed to building incredible products for our customers.

• Build and operate ingestion services that collect and normalize restaurant data at scale.
• Design reliable pipelines and storage that transform raw inputs into structured signals used to generate pages and content.
• Improve platform resilience and observability through metrics, alerting, dashboards, and incident-ready operational runbooks.
• Ship automation that closes the loop by monitoring SEO/AEO outcomes and triggering iterative content and strategy updates.
• Partner cross-functionally with product, data, and ML-adjacent teammates to prioritize work tied to measurable acquisition impact.

• Strong end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to take projects from vague problem statements through design, implementation, and production support.
• Product-oriented engineering mindset.

• Experience with data-driven systems (nice-to-have).

Requirements

• Thinking beyond implementation details to understand guest behavior and business impact.
• Partnering closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver outcomes.
• Familiarity with experimentation, metrics, or data-informed product development is a plus.
• Exposure to ML-adjacent systems is helpful but not required.
• Comfort owning reliability, observability, and incident response for systems that are business-critical.
