[Hiring] Software Engineer – C++ Linux @HARMAN International

Role Description

We are looking for an Automotive Engineer with strong expertise in C++ Middleware. The role involves design, development, and testing of automotive software components with a focus on embedded protocols and real-time performance.

• Will be responsible for implementing the platform software for Middleware and infrastructure.
• Will have to contribute to design and architecture.
• Will be responsible for customer requirement analysis.
• Will help ramp up new recruits on the technical front.
• Will independently own and execute core Middleware and infrastructure modules.
• Should be enthusiastic to learn new technologies.
• Should have an innovative mindset towards problems.

Qualifications

• B-Tech/BE, 6-8 years' experience in embedded software.
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive and IVI systems.
• Expertise in C++, C++11 fluent in concepts of Design Patterns and Android Framework.

Requirements

• Shall be aware of Android HAL AOSP architecture.
• Should have excellent debugging skills using GDB, JTAG, etc.
• Exposure to JAVA is an added advantage.
• Should be fluent in reading/understanding hardware block diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with embedded application firmware development.
• Should be able to work independently and contribute to requirements reviews and analysis of customer change requests.
