[Hiring] Software Engineer @Logical Position

Role Description

• Develop software-driven solutions that directly advance team goals to increase revenue and efficiency.
• Manage cloud infrastructure deployments directly tied to owned projects; monitor and adapt to any provider changes and opportunities for cost savings to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and maximize profitability.
• Independently identify and implement improvements to existing systems to ensure they align with evolving business needs and enhance efficiency in areas with opportunities for continuous refinement.
• Collaborate with inter-departmental stakeholders to identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for automation to improve productivity.
• Engage directly with internal users to gather quality feedback and evaluate the impact of previous work on business initiatives to guide future iterations that support ongoing business priorities.
• Provide development and engineering support to other team members to drive project completion and expansion within the organization.
• Ensure adherence to all internal and industry-standard software engineering best practices, and proactively assess how evolving standards may affect existing systems to maintain long-term sustainability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; or 5+ years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, Python or C#.
• Experience building and using REST APIs.
• Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud hosting infrastructure.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in difficult situations.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Open to both giving and receiving feedback.
