Role Description

Develop and maintain web applications based on the Agile Development Scrum model, wherein product features are incrementally developed in close collaboration with onshore business stakeholders and product owners, by self-organizing and cross-functional teams.

• Capture and analyze business and application requirements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions.
• Prepare detailed design and technical documentation based on gathered requirements.
• Develop new user interface screens and components according to business needs using ASP .Net, MVC, VB .Net, C#, and other Microsoft technologies.
• Build responsive web pages utilizing HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Develop and implement highly responsive user interface components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and TypeScript.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP web services using C# and VB.Net to communicate through Web API and WCF services.
• Utilize familiarity with architectural styles and APIs (REST, RPC, SOAP) to ensure efficient data exchange and modular application design.
• Develop and maintain SSRS and SSIS reports for operational and analytical reporting requirements.
• Create stored procedures, triggers, views, and user-defined functions using Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher.
• Design and tune SQL procedures to retrieve, process, and store data efficiently based on system designs and business requirements.
• Maintain referential, domain, and column integrity through constraints and other database features.
• Participate in SQL code reviews and walkthroughs with the development team.
• Create and implement database encryption procedures using hashing and key-based encryption methods.
• Update and maintain Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams to reflect proposed database changes.
• Analyze, design, and implement code to integrate functional workflows across multiple application modules.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and smoke testing to ensure application quality and stability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Manage code deployments and perform content synchronization across environments.
• Conduct application performance tuning, prepare detailed technical documentation, and provide ongoing application support.
• Perform system analysis and enhancements for proposed improvements.
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams for the development, testing, and maintenance of online portals.
• Utilize Git or other version control systems for source management and JSON/XML for data exchange and integration with third-party APIs.
• Implement cloud-based application deployment and integration using Microsoft Azure or similar cloud environments.
• Telecommuting and work-from-home permitted from anywhere within the U.S.
• Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the United States.
• Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time to various client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in related occupations of Software Engineer, Application Developer, or equivalent.
• Prior experience must include:
• 3 years with ASP.Net MVC, VB.Net, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• 3 years developing responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, and Bootstrap frameworks.
• 3 years developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP web services using WebAPI and WCF.
• 3 years working with JSON, XML, and RPC protocols for system integration.
• 3 years designing and developing Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher) database objects.
• 3 years performing SQL performance tuning and query optimization.
• 3 years developing and maintaining SSRS reports.
• 3 years implementing database encryption, hashing, and key-based encryption techniques.
• 3 years creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• 3 years conducting unit testing, integration testing, and smoke testing.
• 3 years working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• 3 years deploying and integrating applications on Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms.
• 3 years coordinating with onsite and offshore teams for the development, testing, and maintenance of online portals.
