Role Description

• You develop and maintain an IP-based simulation platform for the validation of real-time communication protocols in safety-critical applications.
• You create and extend CAPL scripts for the automation of test scenarios, fault analysis, and communication sequences.
• You use CANoe for protocol monitoring, bus load simulation, and integration tests, as well as VCDL for the standardized description of communication interfaces and test behavior.
• You utilize vTESTstudio for graphical test case development and execution control.
• You analyze network communication using the tools CANoe and Wireshark.
• You implement the communication matrix for IT security, cryptographic components, and firewalls from Fortinet and OHB.
• You execute automated test cases in the CANoe laboratory environment using network and security systems.
• You integrate CANoe-based automation into the central control framework using Python.

Qualifications

• You have a minimum of three years experience in test automation with the Vector toolchain, especially with CANoe, CAPL, and vTestStudio.
• You are proficient in programming with Python and C# to integrate various systems and tools.
• You bring a good understanding of network technologies and IP-based communication, ideally with some experience in IT security components like firewalls.
• You have a passion for complex technical systems and enjoy finding precise solutions for challenging automation tasks.
• Bonus points if you have already worked with protocols like MQTT, EtherCAT, or standards from the railway sector (e.g., RaSTA, ETCS).
• You communicate confidently in English (C1), both written and spoken.
