Role Description

Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced SharePoint & Power Platform Solutions Engineer to support the design, development, administration, and operational support of enterprise collaboration solutions built on Microsoft 365 technologies. This role serves as a key technical resource supporting the full lifecycle of business applications—from requirements analysis and solution development through deployment, production support, maintenance, and continuous enhancement—within an ITIL-based Operations and Maintenance (O&M) environment.

The SharePoint & Power Platform Solutions Engineer is responsible for the design, development, administration, and operational support of enterprise collaboration solutions built on Microsoft 365 technologies, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, and related services. Working within an ITIL-based O&M environment, this individual develops new Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and SharePoint solutions while sustaining an existing portfolio of enterprise applications.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise solutions using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Develop new business applications and workflows while enhancing and sustaining an existing portfolio of production Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Administer SharePoint Online environments, including site architecture and permissions management.
• Build and maintain reusable Power Platform components and automation templates.
• Package, deploy, and promote Power Platform solutions using enterprise Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.
• Monitor application and platform health, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, releases, and changes using ITIL-based IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) activities.
• Automate administrative and operational tasks using PnP PowerShell and other scripting technologies.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance with organizational security policies.
• Support vulnerability remediation, configuration management, and security compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience administering enterprise SharePoint Online environments.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise Power Platform solutions.
• Experience supporting applications throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience automating SharePoint administration tasks at scale using PnP PowerShell.
