Role Description

We support some of the world's major organizations in successfully integrating their websites on our platform. As an integrated team, we deliver services to architect optimum solutions for customer's unique requirements.

• Partner with our enterprise customers
• Work with Akamai's customers to design and implement solutions maximizing ROI, reducing risk and optimizing business initiatives.
• Collaborate to solve complex infrastructure and application performance challenges aligned with our customers' business strategy.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Owning the design, test, and go-live technical aspects to ensure delivery of web, media and security solutions.
• Being a proactive technical consultant for our customers delivering value with every engagement.
• Acting as a trusted technical advisor to our strategic customers.
• Delivering coaching and training to customers to ensure value and usability from our products.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues that arise during customer implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with web applications or an understanding of TCP/IP networks.
• Proficient in one or more web development languages, methodologies or architectures.
• Experience working with difficult customers.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical customer-facing role and a desire to deliver consulting services.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information in a concise manner.
