[Hiring] Senior Software Engineer, Payments & Fraud @Lime

Role Description

Lime’s Payments and Fraud team is growing and we’re looking for software engineers that are excited to get the details right.

Our Payments work is essential for keeping Lime rolling. We operate as a full-stack team that owns the customer payment experience and is an owner of the financial data that powers the business. Our Fraud work involves delivering sophisticated heuristic and model-based systems to ensure our customers can pay while preventing abuse and defending the platform.

You’ll work with an established team of Backend and Mobile engineers to define and ship new capabilities by regularly collaborating with Product Management, Design, and Data to build the best possible outcomes. Working on Payments and Fraud offers the opportunity to deliver a broad range of projects, including:

• Optimizing the customer payment flow
• Enabling specialized capabilities for local markets
• Building tools to drive our financial efficiency

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates to reside in Canada to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Track record of building impactful products or systems
• Experience in shipping software integrating external services to enable customer outcomes
• Owner's mindset: focused on outcomes and problem-solving
• Data driven: instrumenting work for decision making
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective management of competing priorities
• Customer focused: understanding and solving customer problems

Requirements

• Experience in payment processing, accounting, fraud, or business operations (preferred)
