Role Description

This is a remote position.

As a senior engineer, you will contribute across the stack with a primary emphasis on backend systems. This includes:

• Designing, building, and maintaining scalable services and APIs.
• Contributing to product features end-to-end.

The current technology environment includes:

• Modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strongly typed languages.
• API-driven architectures.
• A mix of relational and non-relational databases deployed on a major cloud provider.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, scalable backend systems.
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver complex product capabilities.
• Maintain and extend integrations while ensuring systems can scale with growth.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and developer experience challenges.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering practices and architecture.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.

• Exposure to document-oriented databases or similar data storage systems.
