Role Description

Senior Professional Services Engineer (Actimize, Inc.; Hoboken, NJ):

• Install and configure software solutions and equipment at customer sites (remotely) while following defined methodology, processes, system requirements, and customer specific needs.
• Resolve technical issues related to application implementation and support product functionality troubleshooting.
• Perform necessary tests to ensure that all components of the technical architecture are properly implemented.
• Complete necessary project documentation.
• Provide basic application overview, technical support, and technical quality control throughout all stages of the project.
• Contribute to work plan creation, document issue resolution to knowledge base system, and support internal team members with technical issues.
• Provide proactive updates to the project manager and customers during the project and follow-up on project pending items and open issues until project closure.
• Integrate applications with Oracle, MSSQL, Flat Files, and other backend enterprise systems using ETL, XML, and scripting languages (integration specific only).
• Assist in the design effort on Enterprise Risk and Compliance Management projects.
• Design, review, and document the on-site architecture of software solutions, working with implementation teams and the customer IT teams.
• Design and monitor the development of an implementation infrastructure and framework.
• Create standard architecture (as built) documents to be used on projects by the deployment team (including subcontractors).
• Provide solutions to high-level and low-level design problems on both the company side and the client side.
• Telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

• Java/J2EE Technologies (Java, Servlet/JSP, EJB, Struts, Spring 2x/3x/4x, Hibernate, IBATIS, JPA, and Web).
• Services (SOAP, REST), JMS, MDB, Design Patterns, Web method, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Kafka.
• Databases: MS SQL, and Oracle.
• Operating Systems: Windows, Citrix, Linux, and MAC OS.
• Building Tools: ANT and Maven.
• Performance Tuning: MAT, Visual VM, JMeter, JPROBE, JPROFILER, Dyna trace.
• Version/Source Control: GIT, SVN, Star Team, CVS, VSS, and CLEARCASE.
• Track Tool: JIRA, Silk Central, HP ALM, and SharePoint.
• Application Servers: JBoss, Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, and Oracle WebLogic.
• Telephony: PBX, Switch, CTI, VoIP, SIP (Avaya, Cisco, Nortel, and Genesis Networking).
• Scripting/Web: JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, DHTML, XML, and VTL.
• IDE and Tools: IDEA IntelliJ, Eclipse, Edit Plus, SQL Developer, SOAPUI, Check Style, Jenkins, File Net, SSH, and WinSCP.
• Installation and integration of NIM/Engage/NTR solutions into Customer Environments.
• Testing/Logging Frameworks (Mockito, JUnit, and Log4j).

Benefits

• Salary: $128,939.00 to $135,000.00 per year.
