Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Back End Developer to enhance and modernize a mature backend architecture that supports custom websites and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing websites, custom API Endpoints, and microservices using .NET Core and C#.

• Experienced developer, comfortable collaborating with a team of 3 to 4 other back end developers.
• Strong communication skills – This developer will be working closely with business users to review and refine requirements.
• Project is based out of the West Coast, so they need to be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of web development experience using C# and .NET Core.
• Proven experience developing, deploying, and optimizing enhancements to a large, mature codebase.
• Hands-on experience building efficient database access and data persistence using MS SQL Server.
• Proven ability building enterprise-grade integrations with external APIs and platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Experience implementing backend systems optimized for mobile and web user experiences.
• Experience implementing secure interfaces using OAuth 2.0 and OICD protocols.
• Ability to collaborate across product, UX, QA, and infrastructure teams using Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience working in a fast-paced Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment following Scrum best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Requirements

• Experience using the DataDog Logging Platform for monitoring and observability.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and BigQuery.
• Advanced English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
