[Hiring] Senior Mobile Developer @GlobalLogic

Role Description

We are developing an app for the motor partner personal insurance for one of the largest UK insurance companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. We're looking for a mature mobile developer to join our distributed team.

Focus: Android-led Mobile Development (Native Kotlin & Swift) + API / Python integrations

Qualifications

• Strong native Android development expertise using Kotlin (and Java legacy knowledge where applicable).
• Working knowledge/experience with Swift for iOS support or cross-platform collaboration.
• Experience working with and developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Python for API integrations, backend services, or scripting support.
• Good level of English.

Requirements

• Contribute to and maintain Client's existing mobile application codebase.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain mobile features in line with product requirements.
• Deliver regular updates, improvements, and bug fixes while maintaining a high standard of code quality.
• Integrate and work with backend services and APIs to support mobile application functionality.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end features.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, performance problems, and production bugs.
• Follow established coding standards, architecture patterns, and development practices within the existing codebase.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the maintainability and reliability of the application.
• Ensure new and existing functionality is thoroughly tested and works reliably across supported devices and OS versions.
• Support the continuous improvement of the mobile development process, tooling, and technical practices.
