Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to manage the software development life cycle, from planning and prioritizing to testing and release. Senior Java Developer responsibilities include:

• Gathering system and user requirements
• Building Java modules
• Testing features before release

If you have hands-on experience developing software with agile methodologies and are ready to lead our junior developers, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality applications.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing, maintaining, and operating applications / REST / (micro-) Services
• Passion for software architecture - OOP and functional concepts
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Regularly refactoring code and applying new knowledge
• At least 4 years of experience developing in Java
• Any experience with Kotlin and/or Python would be helpful but not essential
• Experience with ensemble and pair programming
• Strong communication skills in English
• Familiarity with databases and ETL
• Ability to work closely with data analysts
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized infrastructure
• Strive for Continual Deployments
• Experience with a wide range of AWS services for processing data
• Some Kafka experience would be a plus

Requirements

• This role is fully remote but you must be based in Poland
• The position will pay 175PLN per hour on a B2B basis
