[Hiring] Senior Full Stack Engineer @Kalepa

Role Description

We are looking for smart engineers who love to code, seek challenging problems and appreciate recognition for excellent work. As part of the Core UX team, you will focus on refining existing product functionality to deliver an exceptional user experience. Your work will center on:

• Ensuring consistency across the product
• Maintaining a cohesive look and feel
• Implementing performance improvements that directly impact end users
• Paying close attention to layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual polish

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys iterative improvement, cares deeply about quality, and wants to shape the everyday experience of our users. You'll collaborate with a global team of full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers to build scalable backend solutions as we continue to grow. We're a small team where individual contributions have an outsized impact on both our technology and our business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with a track record of improving and polishing functionalities to bring premium user experience
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving
• Experience in a modern FE framework, preferably React
• Knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, or Python, though open to strong candidates from other OO backgrounds
• Experience with serverless technologies (Lambda, EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments
• Comfortable with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Bonus: experience with LLMs/generative AI, distributed systems
