[Hiring] Senior Full-Stack Developer @Leap Tools

Role Description

At Leap Tools, we are building the world's most advanced solutions for the interior décor industry. Our technology lets you preview products in your own room before you buy them. The Bespoke Projects team builds custom applications for clients, transforming loose requests into enjoyable products.

What you'll do:

• Own each project end-to-end: data model, UI, backend, release, and support after launch.
• Shape projects before the contract is signed: draft the plan, scope the work, and agree on APIs and integrations directly with the client's team.
• Build polished, interactive tools: product configurators, drawing tools, in-store displays, and experiences embedded in client websites.
• Work side by side with our designer: propose improvements, challenge designs, and ensure every detail is right.
• Build products powered by generative AI.
• Follow a problem wherever it leads across our apps and services.
• Turn one-off apps into products that serve many clients.
• Set up tests, lint rules, and agent instructions for safe AI-written code deployment.
• Ship every week, run it in production, and check user engagement.
• Raise the bar through code review, mentoring, and documenting decisions.
• Participate in hiring to help grow the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience building scalable systems.
• Strong computer science fundamentals based on a degree in computer science or distinctive work experience.
• Strong understanding and experience with TypeScript, React, and NextJS.
• Full-stack experience: SQL schema design and server-side TypeScript; Python and Django are a big plus.
• A sharp eye for UI and confidence to push design ideas.
• Strong focus on execution and delivery of the product.
• Exceptional attention to detail and focus on quality and long-term goals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Daily use of AI coding tools and the judgment to check their work.
• Comfortable with infrastructure changes in Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and support.
• A leadership mindset: initiative, decision-making, and consistent delivery of results.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Benefits

• Remote-first work environment.
• Tight-knit teams that cultivate an ownership mentality.
• Work anywhere in the world for up to 3 months.
• Parental leave program.
• Work-from-home stipend.
• Your birthday (and our company's birthday) is a day off!
