[Hiring] Senior Flutter Engineer @Ciklum

Role Description

To accelerate our mission, we are hiring a Senior Flutter Engineer with a 10x mindset — someone who multiplies the impact of a small team through superb craft, speed with quality, strong product instincts, and the smart use of AI tools to move faster than teams twice our size.

• Own the mobile experience. Lead the architecture, implementation, and evolution of our flagship iOS and Android apps, used by tens of thousands of people every day.
• Ship end-to-end features. Translate product ideas and Figma designs into pixel-perfect interfaces that are fast, responsive, and delightful across devices.
• Build from scratch. Take new app ideas from concept to production.
• Leverage AI to move faster. Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and code review. Help the team adopt and refine AI-powered workflows that increase our output without sacrificing quality.
• Scale our component library. Establish reusable widgets, patterns, and tooling to increase velocity and maintain consistency.
• Raise the bar on quality. Implement robust unit and integration tests, error monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Partner across the stack. Collaborate closely with Product Design, Backend Engineers, and the Leadership Team to define APIs, shape UX, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Own releases. Manage app store submissions, track bugs, and optimize performance.
• Mentor and multiply. Share best practices — including AI workflows — review code thoughtfully, and uplevel the team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mobile app development experience (iOS, Android, React Native, or Flutter).
• 3+ years of hands-on production development with Flutter and Dart.
• Pixel-perfect UI using Flutter’s widget system, responsive layouts, and platform-aware design.
• Strong understanding of state management, app architecture, and runtime performance.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit + integration) and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfortable managing app releases (App Store and Google Play) and tracking bugs end to end.
• Deep understanding of HTTP, REST, and frontend/backend communication patterns.
• Active use of AI development tools. You should already be using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar AI assistants in your daily development workflow.
• A self-starter with a bias for action — you do not wait to be told what to do.

Requirements

• Experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.
• Familiarity with Firebase, push notifications, and deep linking.
• Experience with backend development (Java, Spring Boot, or similar).
• SQL proficiency and familiarity with relational databases.
• Experience building or integrating AI-powered features into mobile apps (on-device models, LLM APIs, intelligent UX).
• Contributions to open-source projects or published writing on development topics.
